My comments in that thread about slamming were not directed at you. We get your point, and have done what we can to address them.

I've received one of those confirmation emails with every order I ever placed with Rick's. If PortugueseS2K did place an order (COMPLETELY) he would have such a confirmation. (and a corresponding charge to his credit card) Let's give him a day to post it. If he doesn't, then clearly this is not the fault of Rick's and this thread should be locked.

Rick's may not be the fastest at answering emails, but they are very honest businessmen who make and selll excellent products. They do not deserve this kind of BS.

(BTW: If this was his first experience with Rick's as the title of his post suggests, why has he bashed them before?)

If they screwed up his order, how the hell would he have a receipt? This is not the first time I have heard negative info about Rick's and no one is above making a mistake, I think the gist of the complaint is that there has not been adequate communication.

You DIDN'T place an order. You ATTEMPTED to place an order and encountered difficulties. The problem you were experiencing could have been a comm error on your side, a software error on your side, or a technical problem on theirs. Yes, your emails should have received a timely response, but this is not a sitaution where a vendor is mishandling an order.

If you want to voice a complaint about poor communication, that's one thing, but to make false/misleading statements is quite another.

Lock 'er up. A fork is now sticking out of this thread, cause it's done.
