IF it's true that PortugueseS2k made this whole thing up, Rick's should take immediate legal action and PortugueseS2k should be banned from further postings. This amounts to a libelous statement intent on hurting a man's business and the law has remedies to address this.

I'm not an apologist for Rick's customer service but concocting a story to discredit someone's business is simply disgusting!

Ordered from Rick before and never had a problem. He's the fastest sponsor I've dealt with so far. Next to hardtop guy of course.

You need to cut these guys some slack, running an online business is not as easy as one may think. The whole credit card verification and all that doesn't happen the way it does at the store. My order with Lucid is soon to be a month, it's slow but I know I will get my stuff eventually. It's something you have to deal with online ordering.

There are some nice accusations coming in from both sides. Obviously someone is mistaken. Either Stratocaster shouldn't be accusing a customer of not having placed an order, or he has every right to be upset that someone is libeling his company. Here is what I received via E-mail when I ordered my 4.57 gears from Rick:

I assume all orders receive something like this. If so, PortugueseS2K should cut and paste his receipt in to this thread to verify that he did in fact place the order. The reference number will also help Rick's identify the order.

Read my posts please, I never slammed you about any shipping or orders placed. I am slamming you because I NEEDED an accessory and I NEEDED to know if I could purchase this from you guys. I could not find this anywhere else at the time. To date, I have received no response. Since that time I found the product elsewhere and while what I needed was fairly inexpensive, it was essential. You guys lost that business and any future business from me.
