I was on the highway (Rt. 3 West for you locals) and I'm driving all nice and casual this morning (Sunday), just enjoying the nice sunny weather listening to some old 80's rock. I was driving in the lane next to the fast lane doing 60 mph on a 55 mph highway. I know I didn't cut anyone off because prior to the incident I hadn't done any lane changes in a while.

So I'm driving along and this two fat a$$es pull up next to me in the fast lane. I had the top down with the windows rolled up and he screams out... HEY!!!! So I look over and he has half his body hanging out the window with both his arms moving up and down with his middle finger in the air. I wasn't phased by it at all for I was in super chill mode, so I just smiled and waved at him and gave him a So they pull up like another 3 car lengths infront of me, him still in the fast lane and all of a sudden I see a glass snapple bottle, purposely thrown on the floor hard in my lane and glass started flying everywhere. So I slammed on the brakes so nothing would hit the paint and kept going on my way. Then like 2 min later I saw that I had coins in the car and caught up to them but couldn't get next to them to chuck coins at them for they had moved to the right lane and there was too much traffic.

I really don't understand why people have to be such haters. If you don't like the fact that I work for what I have then they should do something about it instead of sitting on their fat a$$es. Don't know why people like this exist out there but they do and should be cautious about it.

After having some time to think I realized that I should have just called the cops and followed them so that the cops could follow them for I had no where to go for I was just cruising.

Sorry so long guys. Just wanted to vent and share.

thats why you carry paint thinner in your car.

I rarely get people liek that but its happened and when they start talking shit I dont even give them a look. Why waste your time.

 

What if you would have been able to throw those coins at them?

Damn haters. And of course, when you actually need them, there's no cops around ... but that time you're speeding ... thats when they'll be there!

i used to get poeple throwing sutff, or cutting me off and slamming on the breaks....best to just let it go...

 

Just curious, but is this common? I have never heard of this and I personally have never felt any kind of compulsion to do something like that to a rider. Quite the contrary, I usually get over and give riders plenty of space, and if it is a nice bike I will give him/her a thumbs up.

It is one thing for a moron to throw a glass bottle at a car and possibly damage the paint, tires, etc, but if someone were to hit a bike at highway speeds, there is a pretty good chance they will kill them.

 

I know how u feel. Just the other weekend i was on the highway top down enjoying the sun .. when a neon flys by me gets in front of me and slows down and turns on his window cleaner so it all flys back on me! What dicks!

 

Ya gotta hate people like that. The next time you see one of those guys, most likely his head will be poking out the drive-thru window, and he will be asking you if you'd like fries with that order. If you're really lucky, he'll be walking into your back yard carrying that filthy hose they use to pump sewage sludge out of your septic tank. Let's pray for that.
