First Time Buyer
Hi All,
This is my first post to this fantastic forum... I have been looking to buy a 2nd hand S2000 for the last month and I think I have finally found the one I want.
I have test driven it at the weekend and it was fantastic, however is there anything I need to look out for.
One thing about my test drive was the clutch.... It seemed that when I was depressing the clutch it was fighting me a bit and seemend to a bit grindy?
The car is a 2000 model and has 42,000 miles but has a Full Honda Service History and looks to be in fantastic condition..
Is there anything I should look out for?
Thanks all in advance!

A clutch bleed would be my first stop:

Beyond that, I sent you a PM with various things to look for and their potential causes. I know the list is a bit on the exhaustive side but I don't think it hurts to be a little critical. Also keep in mind that these problems are few and far between, the S is put together quite well. Good luck and welcome aboard, this site will quickly become invaluable to you.

I recenly purchased a 2001. After checking the VIN number, I took it to a dealer and had them do the once over. Lucky for me, they told me it was in great shape and I was fortunate to purchase it at the price I paid for it.
