First time using Dr Colorchip—thoughts and tips
#11
I'm sure you could get better results by over-filling then wet sanding and polishing. A second coat of colorchip after the first dries would probably help too. But invisible from 2 feet was good enough for me for the difference in time spent. (And I wanted to keep wet sanding on the 911 to a minimum.)

Dr. Colorchip is great! I somehow managed to put a nice long scratch on the top of the rear spoiler of my NSX (coat zipper, I think). Horrified, I grabbed the Dr. Colorchip that I happened to have on hand. It worked like a charm! The repair is invisible...I have no idea where the original scratch was.
For you guys with the front end chips, if your budget permits and the chips aren't too numerous, install a clear bra. It was probably the best money that I've spent on my cars.

Use it sooner then later. My S2000 and NSX are both Silverstone, so I got the larger size kit. By the time I got around to try it, the paint had hardened. Now that I'd like to try it out, they won't send it to Canada.
