Default First winter in the S2000

1. What do you guys do for floor mats? I don't want salt ruining mine. Does anyone sell ones (for under 100$) that fit the S2000 perfectly or should I just hit up Wal-Mart and go to town with a knife on them to make them fit?

2. I have a 2008. Will my tire pressure light be on all winter if I'm using AP1 wheels with snows on them? If so, any quick and easy way to get rid of it?

Also, unrelated, but can I make my AC not turn on when I put the fan on windshield mode?

Random pic for your troubles

There a way to deactive the compressor from kicking on when you turn it to defrost mode. I just need to find the link, I'll get back to ya!

To deactivate automatic a/c feature on a 2002+ S2000:

1) Turn the ignition switch "on," but dont start the car.
2) Turn fan speed off.
3) Turn temperature knob all the way to the left (blue area).
4) Turn vent knob to all the way to the left (panel position).
5) Turn the ignitions switch "off."
6) Hold down both air recirculation button and a/c button while turning the ignition switch "on." Nothing lights up initially, keep waiting. The orange air recirculation indicator on the button will start flashing.
7) Continue holding both buttons until the orange air recirculation indicator stops flashing, then let go.

Because the A/C is cooling the the more humid air in the interior which is usually caused by your breathing. The dry air whisks at the moisture on the windows and the a/c actually cools the air so its not at the point of condensation.

I picked up these Lloyd rubber mats from autoanything.com for about $55 to get me through the winter. They fit about as well as the OEM mats, have holes for the anchors on the driver side, and nubs on the bottom to prevent them from moving around. Can't speak to their durability though since I just got them.

Thanks for the link, but do they have rubber ones and I'm not just seeing it?

Me carpet ones are on the worn side, so I might get new ones next year so thanks for the link.
