I just bought my S about a month and a half ago without the tonneau cover. So I called my local Honda dealership to see how much one would cost. $822.00 . I found one on ebay for $82. It is a pita to put it on, but I like how it looks. My $.02.

 

I used a stopwatch at the end of last summer to time myself. While not the most coordinated person on the planet, or even the block, in all likelihood, it took me under 30 seconds to put the tonneau cover in place. Taking it off is about a 10 second job, at most. The finished, polished look is well worth the time.

 

I recall reading somewhere on the forums that over time some tops won't drop down as far as they used to... this could make it difficult to install the cover.

I personally like the clean look with it installed, and I find it only takes a minute or two to install.

And to take it back on topic- I dislike the tonneau cover.

 

Nate 03 is correct. His advice is great. It's a pain to use but worth it. It keeps the dust and pollen out of the mechanism. The problem is that it there needs to be a more pliable yet strong version of the cover. It's a quality product but a pain to use. I wish Rick would solve the problem. HINT! I use mine all the time but it takes - on a good day - a minimum of 3-5 minutes to put on. It's embarrassing and a pain to have to "fight" the cover to ride in style.
