Default fix-a-flat

has anybody used this stuff, or other products like it? i heard from a friend that it eats away at your tire, is this true or is it perfectly harmless? also are there other choices that are maybe better than fix-a-flat?

never use stuff like that cuz all it does it put liquids in ur tire that does nothing.. also can rust ur rim up..

if u get a flat.. better to pump it up and get it patched or replaced.. better to carry a small air pump than a can of fix a nothing

Take it to NTB or another tire place. Nowadays they take off the whole tire and patch it from the inside, so it works really good.

fix-a-flat sucks, it is only a temporary fix and when you do bring it into a tire shop to get the tire fixed its a PITA to clean and repair. best bet would be to put your spare on, air up the flat tire or tow it. fix-a flat is FTL

Fix-a-flat will eat the inner liner of your tire. I would highly rec. not touching that stuff.

Good Idea. Get it done the right way the first time.

Fix-a-flat is great to get yourself out of a bad situation, and its small and convenient. I used it on my 600RR when i had a flat. I plugged the tire as soon as possible, fully deflated and fully inflated the tire several times to get the stuff out. Make sure you have a lot of fresh air or you'll be seeing stars.
