Flashing redline

When i say flash, i mean Blinks. Mine lights up red but its solid. I see the Japanese S2000's Blink on and off when they hit redline.

It's because you are "special".

Mine doesn't flash because I went out and bought a redline beeper, making sure I don't run into the redline through inattention.

Experiment: While moving in first gear, hold the gas pedal down and do not release it. Make sure you don't touch the clutch or the brakes for this test. Something is bound to happen (either your tach will flash just before fuel cutoff, you will run in to something, or your engine will explode). Let's find out which one happens first, maybe you can get bonus points for all three.
