as much as i'd love a roll cage i'd hate it. being people would see me with it when i have the top down, and assume RollCage=Power and well my car is stock as of right now soon going INLINE!=) and it looks tacky lol

maybe you can talk your dad into securing a supercharger system instead. Sometimes having sufficient power to escape an otherwise dangerous situation is helpful. Hey, all he can say is no!

Pretty much the only way you're going to flip the S is if you have help from elevation changes (hitting a curb (really fast, sideways), canyon, ramp, embankment, etc.)

What does your dad drive? I'll bet every other car your family owns has a greater chance of rollover than the S.

Why not get your Dad to buy you an advanced driving course,
you would have fun and better equiped to handle any tricky
situation that came up.

since our cars are open top without an B or C pillar geometricly are cars are weaker and alot less sitffer compared to closed cars. i was just curious since my dad is up in arms about this.
Was your dad blitzed out of his mind when he made that statement? B and C pillars have virtually no bearing on a vehicle's roll-ability. Ride height, suspension travel, weight, and speed combined at the exact wrong moment are what causes a car to roll over.

Can you roll the S2000? Yes, but you'd have to get pretty creative to do it.

As a side note, if your dad is that clueless then tell him the car isn't safe unless it has more 'merging power' on the highway. Have him foot the bill for a supercharger kit or other speed goodies.
