Looks more like 1.5x to me but even 2x seems reasonable since you're not just replacing the fob but the fob and key. I'd love to see some of the "super slim flip keys" that others apparently seem to be comparing this to. Every flip key I've seen is bulky.

I do, however, agree that the design and build quality of this option seem dubious but only long term use can really answer to that.

Have you been reading this (currently 4 page) thread? To answer your question -- those that aren't clicking a thread that "they don't care about" for the sole purpose of threadcrapping. The title of this thread isn't misleading at all. If you really don't care then skip the thread and move on.

just have a quick question since i have a 06 MY the key isnt the jagged ones from the early S years, will my key still be able to go into the unit. even though it says 04/05. did the keys change in 06? sorry but just wanted to know, since i just might buy one.

I thought that only the CR-V and S2000 keys were the same. Honda like to share things with other models.
