Default Flipping an S2000

Tried searching through here but did not find any information.
Basically trying to find out if there are really any chances of surviving a role in the s2000? I know it is hard to flip the S2000 or at least so I would think, but any information anyone has one S2000's that have flipped? Does the roll bar actually save you from hitting the ground when upside down?

i havent heard of any flips... i think it would be very hard to flip one of our cars-
i do know that we have roll bars behind out seats, just in case. the windshield should hold the front (in theory anyway).

sorry, i not gonna be the test car on this one!!

I've seen S2000's that have been rolled over some where on this forum before. The owner's survived. Seems as if the windshield holds up just enough to level out with the roll bar, so my theory as to our reflexes when a roll over occur, either lean to the center to lower the center height or slide down to keep your head from being higher than the roll bar. I can conclude that comparing the S2000 to other roadster's we have some type of roll bar system that has been in accidents where the drivers made it out alive and usually uninjured. What you gotta worry about is rocks falling through your roof since it's just a fabric. Sad story one of my dad's good friend's daughter died after driving by those big rigs and some how a single rock fell out and went through her top and hit her in her head.

There are tons of rollovers posted. Not many flips on flat roads. Most were off ditches and ravines. They hold up really, really well. People walked away most of the time with minor cuts and bumps.

WOW I'm impressed. Didn't think that it would be that survivable when being flipped.

I just don't understand how you would be safe when the roll bar sits below your head..... I'm 5'11" and sit a couple inches higher, thinking about cusco 5point roll bar w/ harness bar.

Here's a thread comparing the Solstice to the S2000 in Dragon rollovers.

if you want a real rollbar, you want to get one that is welded in, not the bolt in ones.

but there was a s2000 here on the boards that flipped and his cusco/saftey 21 bar held up
