i'm glad to read this!

i was looking a very different direction than a new s2000, but when i decided to get married, the reliability and attention to keeping the drivers alive and safe had a lot of appeal. and in this package, there's almost no compromise to pay for it! S2K FTW!

if you want a real rollbar, you want to get one that is welded in, not the bolt in ones.

but there was a s2000 here on the boards that flipped and his cusco/saftey 21 bar held up

Don't do a cage and tubular roll bar unless you have a helmet and proper harness / seat combination. You can hurt yourself worse. Just IMHO.

Someone flipped at the Dragon last year and broke his arm on his aftermarket roll bar. There are other reports of head injuries in the same fashion.

Walked away with one minor cut on my left shin and nothing else...

you can survive the rollovers

2 flips and 5 rolls did this to my friends car and the driver walked away with only minor cuts and bruises:

the main front hoop is the main rollover bar and its very strong. this is what will hold up the car when you land upside down:

I thought you wanted to "flip" the S2K, as in "flip that house".

Bad idea?

Wow scary pics on here... I've always wondered how well it would hold up. My head sits higher than the roll bar so it has always sort of been in the back of my mind.
