Hmmmm.... interesting range of comments.

I ordered Muz mats a couple of months ago (and convex driver mirror). I was very happy that someone was finally making a color combination to match the GPW tan interior so I decided to give them a shot. I am very happy with the mats, so much so that I get angst when they get dirty :-)

I agree that they are priced high (especially when shipping is included) but with only a couple of suppliers, it is not like they could be considered a commodity. I have no problem supporting a small business that caters to my specifics needs (err.. desires).

I ordered with standard shipping and I received the product in about a month. No big deal... it's not like the car can't be driven without them.

And for what it is worth, the convex mirror is awesome... it's like having a second rear view mirror. The car is much more a pleasure to drive in traffic now.

vvviikes - the answer in your signature should be "A glass that is twice as big as it needs to be".

LOL Harpoon. But 2.0 is a big fudge factor. You must be an engineer too.

I'm not sure, but I think the red trim is available for prestige mat only.

Anyway, what floor mat are you using now? I've been trying to read up on reviews on the mats lately, and they have certainly been mixed. From the pictures, the driver's side looked okay (except that exceltoexcel mentioned the dead pedal doesn't fit too well ... which I couldn't tell from the pictures, since most of them don't go that far), but then the passenger side was what worries me a little. I haven't really see much of the close up pics on the passenger side. Part of the reason for shopping for some aftermarket mat is to save the "hump" from wearing out, and fitment's definitely going to part of my equation. If you have some pics, can you post of them? Thanks!
It covers the hump, as i said in reply to your PM, it just not fitting right over the crossmember on the left side, I'm sure it'll settle down but the left tip hits the chair rail near the left side bolt and the dead head pedal. I don't think it's going to do any damage to the matt but the way everyone was talking I thought these babies were going to fit like a glove. It doesn't go as deep under the pedals as I'd like. They are good quality but with the lack of spikes and the slight fitment issues I don't think they are a good value. My bet would be that compaired to ricks the only thing I'd miss is the read trim since the logo doesn't quite flow on the passenger side and I'd keep $80 for a steak dinner and i'd be supporting the american institution that is rickss2k.
