[QUOTE=ggarriso,Jun 22 2005, 04:46 AM] Do any floormats come with extra support for your heel.

OK, so both are good. Now which one matches the stock red carpet better? I assume this will be a consideration for the thread creator since they have the red carpets.
Perfectly matching the red OEM carpets is very difficult if not impossible.

Our red prestige carpet is a stonger solid red than the OEM red carpet. (See images here ... http://www.prestigeautoaccessories.com/pho...rt=1&perpage=12 )

Tan is another difficult colour to match but we have recently been sent some new samples from the supplier of our prestige carpet (below).

We are still considering if we will offer one of the following to tan interior owners...

So are Muz mats shipped from Australia?

What's the average real delivery time to the US? Same goes for Rick's.... can anyone speak from experience, and not just the web site?

Also, does anyone have aftermarket mats in a GPW/tan interior? I'd like to see a pic if you have one...

Thanks,

Six months ago I was going to order from Rick's but at that time they did not have tan. I ordered from Muz and have been happy. I am sure Rick's would have been nice but I did not have the option back then.

I was very impressed by the service of Rick's especially considering they did not get the business.

Soon I will buy some toys for the S and this time I will throw Rick's the bone.

I love my Muz mats! The S logo on the hump is a great plus too!

There are many owners still getting good use out of our prestige floormats after as long as 4 years. The prestige carpet is exceptionally long wearing despite it's plush look, upmarket appearance and softness underfoot.
I was probably the first guy in the Atlanta club to get Muz floor mats and remember when one of the other S2000 owners first saw them they said, "Wait, the floor mats are so nice I feel like I should take my shoes off before I sit in the car." They are plush but also durable.

What are the heel pads made out of? I like to drive barefoot and I am just wondering how that would feel.

Were there any pictures of the "charcoal" color mats in an S2000 on the link? I didn't see any. Can you post a picture or two? I'd like to see how it matches up.

I would like to get the tan mat. Which shade would I be getting?

I wonder whether a black mat would look out of place?

The general consensus from most people is for the middle one (sample swatch #2), and from a cleaning and colour perspective I think that's probably the wisest choice.

I had not really made any firm decisions on this yet but if anyone would really like a set of prestige floormats in this colour do feel free to let me know and I'll speed things up a bit. I can usually obtain an ETA on ordering a roll of the carpet in and have a timeframe for manufacturing within a few days.
