What do guys think of a black mat on tan interior,
This is what I'm planning to do since the aftermarket tan mats don't seem to match very well. I think it will look fine and it will hide dirt better, although to be honest, I'm putting off purchasing them until my stock mats wear out in hopes that someone will make a tan mat that matches better.

Many tan interior owners have ordered the charcoal (or black) floormats.

The tan carpet in the S2000 is more of a 'butterscotch' color and extremely difficult to match exactly. We have been hunting it down for months now and the closest matches we have been able to find are shown below. I think the middle colour swatch could possibly be close enough to be suitable and I can always order a roll of the carpet in if there is enough interest in it. It is the prestige carpet BTW.

When I get mats, I definitely would want charcoal for my tan interior. After only a week and a half, my tan factory mats show a lot of dirt. Also, I don't really care for the color of the carpeting and it seems to me that charcoal that covers much of it would be an improvement (I do like the tan leather parts)

The car shown in the image above is almost new and look at the state of the tan carpet already. Gorgeous colour but very impractical underfoot.

Bringing this 'ol thread back to ask Muz a question.
Having spent some time searching do I understand that ordering charcoal ( instead of black ) on the Prestige Mats is a better match for our black factory carpet?
Rick's wool mats look sweet but that's alot of money for mats...frankly so are the Preswtige but everyone here has great things to say about them.

Yes, that is correct. Our charcoal mats are the best match for the factory 'black' carpet.
