I wouldn't let a quick lube place do it for $19.99. I teach high school auto shop and it's not my A students working for Jiffy Lube, it's the C- students.
hahahaa

If engine oil, tranny fluids and differential fluids are replaced with MOTUL 300V and gear 300 including labour then it sounds about right.

Well it ended up costing my 469.00 dollars to day to get all the fluids changed and new spark plugs. That kind of kicked me in my ass. I really did not plan to spend that much. I think for now on I will be servicing the car my self. I guess the old owners tried to put the spark plugs in them selfs cause they managed to have two of them lose, they used bosh spark plug, wich I was told by the shop owner should never be used and hondas. And they where surprized that it did not run rougher or at all, considering that one of the electrodes was completely gone. Its been a bad day for me.

You are getting ripped off! Well, i'm not really sure if that is a good price or not, but it is really very easy to change the fluids yourself with some basic mechanical skills and a few standard tools. I'm sure that you already know how to change engine oil, and Xviper has written DIY writeups for changing both the transmission and differential fluid. I changed my transmission and diff fluid the other night, with a good fluid pump it is very simple to change yourself in your garage. Also, with all of the threads with people reporting that the dealership installed the wrong fluid in the diff. and it grenaded a week later would be enough to make me want to change it myself. Not only will you learn how to do it, you will also know that you put good oil in your engine/trans/diff. Just my opinion though.
My opinion too!

$469?!?! jesus...wait so what fluids did they change? anything besides engine, trans, and diff? brake fluid or something? i've never changed the transmission or diff oil myself, but i got the stuff and will do it myself in a month or two. honda wanted like $80 to chagne the differential. the oil and supplies costed me like $15. transmission fluid was $22.

hopefully the shop you work at is cool and you can do that stuff there next time!

$469 (total) - $225 (fluid change) = $244 (spark plug change)

Oil (Mobil 1) $25
Filter (Honda) $6.25
Trans Fluid (Honda) $8.5
Dif Oil (Almasol 607) $12.25
Spark Plugs (Honda) $69.14 <Why are Honda plugs so much??!
Brake Fluid $3.00

Total materials = $124.14

Either they really bent you over, or you're not tellin' us the whole story.
