Default To fly and drive, or ship

I just ordered a Suzuka Blue S2000 from Chicago (fantastic prices there). When it arrives in August I need to fly and drive, or ship it to Denver. If you know of any good transports, or cheap one way tickets let me know.
Thanks

Did you really save enough to make it worth the wait? I know for a fact that the Boulder dealer (Fisher) is getting a Suzuka in any day now and they sell at MSRP...

I had a chance to buy one in Glenwood Springs for MSRP but I'm saving $2500 over that, and in July I'm really busy and wouldn't have had much time to use it.

I'd fly over and enjoy the drive back. =D
that's what I've done as well as many others.

Shipping out of Chicago is notoriously inexpensive, so even though I have done the fly and drive thing twice, I would ship! I recommend Horseless Carriage or Intercity Lines. They don't subcontract (this is VERY important) and they only use covered trucks. They're a little more expensive, but I was VERY happy with Horseless when they shipped my car from Florida to Texas.

Fly over and drive back. That way, you can get the 600 mile break-in out of the way right away.

Fly and drive. It's what I did (of course, I did it from Salt Lake so the ride home was a dream) and it gave me plenty of time to test her out under a variety of road conditions/surfaces, see a bit of the country I hadn't seen in a while and get to know the car before I got home. The drive to Denver from Chicago might not be too exciting since it's mostly flat and straight but it will break her in nicely (assuming you take it easy) by the time she reaches here.

Order a bra for your new S now. Fly over, install the bra, and drive that baby back home!

I think I read in Carney's book that you weren't supposed to put all the break-in miles at one sitting. I shipped mine back. Didn't have time to drive to CA from MA.
