Default Fog Light Idea for u guys.

I saw the post of the Odyssey fog lamp install. Looks clean, but I think I have a simpler idea for u guys. The 99-00 Civic Si's have almost the same size bumper inserts. Honda offers optional fog lights which coem with brackets which hold them and are made to go there, so no cutting or glueing would be necessary. There is a frame(not sure what to call it) around the light which helps it blend into the car. These look great when color matched to the car's paint. They come grey stock, and if you look at www.honda.com, or the H A website, i am sure you will see what I am talking about. Has anyone tried this or thought about trying it?

airgate put some foglights similar to those into his S2K. He didn't use the Civic Si kit, but did it himself instead.

How can u say that? The light fits in the actual hole and the gray piece goes along with the grooves in the car. I think it could work well.

Those are them, but in that pic, u cannot see how they actually fit in with the piece i am talking about. That bra is blocking them and making that car look NASTY!

One thing to keep in mind (but maybe I'm over-analyzing things) is that even though the openings, where the foglights mount, might be very similar in size between the S2000 and Civic, the angle at which the bumpers sweep back is different. The S2000's bumper sweeps back much further than the Civic's so it's possible that the Civic foglights might "toe out" when attached to the S2000's bumper (unless they're adjustable so they can be aimed correctly).
