i think it's the same thing as some Prelude owners liking the USDM circle fogs with mounting hardware that's flush.. and some Prelude owners liking the JDM fogs where the entire face is a glass lens that's flush.

The look is "OK" but the mess left in the bumper after the installation completely turned me off to the idea.

That was a result of his K&N filter on his CAI. If I'm not mistaken, Rick has since taken care of that issue.

The Civic fog lamps will not work. Even with heavy modifications, it will look awful!

I never completed the Odyssey fog lights for my S2000 and instead used PIAA's again (as I did on my '00 S2k). I think they look great and when I have the desire, I may change them back to the original location of my '00's!

Here are some pics of my old '00. . .

And currently on my '02. . .

If they could make a kit like the ones for the Civic, I would DEFINATELY get them. The bezels look so good whel colormatched to the bumper, very clean. Too bad the Civic ones WILL NOT work with the S2k.

This is what the Civic foglights look like:

And you really have to slaughter the bumper to do the install.....first cut is the worst!

The mess left in the bumper? Since it's completely hidden on the inside of the bumper, never to be seen unless the bumper has been removed, I don't understand.

I'm not aruging for what I did, however. But among the options available so far, I do think it appears to be the most integrated solution, one that looks designed for the car.
