Default Fog light switch

OK, ive already done a search and didnt find much.
Question-Did/do the S2000, 00-06, ever come with foglights...I wanna say no since all ive seen are aftermarket.

Im planning on installing some foglights and I want it to look OEM, Id like to put it in that extra plastic piece to the right of the stearing wheel. I have a 2000 S2.
On the left of the wheel its the cruise on the right its blank.
1) - do they have a switch for the right side?
2) - will the cruise switch fit on the right side too?

Thanks for your help guys

I'd have to double check by taking a look at my car, but the 'right' empy 'plastic piece' is for rear defrost on the models that have a glass rear window. This may have changed in the 04-06 models...not sure as I have an '03.
Hope this helps...

The S2000 never came with "front" foglights. The UK version has always had the rear foglight.

you can wire in the OEM defrost switch in that "blank" in order to get the fogs to operate. a guy I know just did this.

how is the European rear fog light turned on? Is it always wired to operate when the lights are on?

It is my belief that they have a switch. Post this up in the UK forum to get a definitive answer.

If you have a hardtop in an AP1, you will have added a center console module that contains one switch for the rear defroster and one blank space for something else. You could use that other space for a switch or get that module and put a switch in there.
