Default A fond farewell

Well, this will most likely be my last post in this forum. Friday night at about 11:00 EST I got in an 80 mile-an-hour fight with a retaining wall. And no, no illegal substances, just stupidity. Back half of the car on the driver's side is allright, rear bumper is broken in half and the passenger side of it is gone, along with that taillight now residing in the trunk. I've estimated the engine bay is about half of it's normal length, but the block is intact. Interior is perfect, dash still works and i was still listening to the cd player when i stopped spinning. She was so beautiful...and i know this may sound very odd, but i'd named her Samantha.

I'm glad that you're o.k. It could have been a lot worse.

Thanks for posting. I hope no one was hurt!

Post more details if you're up to it. However, under the circumstances, I'd understand if not. Just as long as everyone got out okay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm glad you're here to post for us. Remember, you can replace a car, body parts and your life you can't.
Take care...

sorry it took so long to reply...life's a bit crazy when you're on painkillers. Well, not too many details to give, but my biggest piece of advice: when the back end starts sliding at high speeds remember, the S2000 is perhaps one of the most easily-over-stearable cars i've ever drivin (which is what happened to me). Don't overdo it, just bump the wheel a little. But as far as particulars go, i spun out of a 5 lane interstate (which was empty at 11 pm) several times before crashing into a gaurdrail. And above all else, wear a seatbelt.

Glad you're still posting. Having endured a recent mishap myself, I can appreciate the shock of what you're going through.
You'll drive another day. Please get better soon, and happy holidays to you.

Sorry about your loss, but it could have been worse. Not to try to start flames on your sad post, but how many more replys do you think will be posted before the vultures start asking for parts?
