Well, i probably said that because i wanted at that time to just cut all ties with the car, ya know? She was a great car, and the only complaint i ever had about driving her was that i never got to see her pass by me. :-)

I understand that she was your baby. She has plenty of brothers and sisters though. Think about it, give yourself time to recover. You gotta drive something. Maybe sometime in the future there will be another S in your life.

Sorry to hear this. But trust me, when you drive a car of this caliber it will call you back. My brother totaled his then brand new WRX and decided that he didn't need the big payments and the bad memories so he bought a new Civic SI. Three months later the SI got traded at the Scooby dealership for a yellow 03 WRX. You won't be able to stay away.
Do this: Go to the dealer one month from now and just test drive an S2000. Let us know the results.
You'll get back on your feet. It's darkest before the dawn.

Or you will.

21wS2K, this is great advice! I've yet to push her and learn my limitations in poor road conditions. Your post is food for thought, I can't wait for spring...

My post was based on the contingency that Kansorian has the ability to retrieve another S2000 from the dealership. I'm not certain if someone here took my post the wrong way. I meant nothing derogatory or ill spirited. I wish the best to any member who has lost there vehicle under various conditions. It seems like I'm being scolded, but I'm not sure why. If anyone took offense to my post please don't. It was designed to be up lifting.
Best of luck in what ever you decide.
