forced induction for the s2k
Ok Guys!! I did some research for FI s2k's. If you decide to go s/c you have the vortech or comptech which can yield 300rwhp. Vorctech can yield 350rwhp. For a turbo applicant you have either 3 choices;
either you choose a speedcraft turbo kit for 6,500 or the UR turbo kit for 5,500. The last choice is you go custom. It seems that the turbo kit's are faster then the supercharger kits.
Now that I got that out of the way it seems like you want more hp @ lower psi get the speedcraft turbo kit over the UR turbo kit. Since I want to achieve 320 - 350rwhp can I do this with either of the turbo kits and not have to built my motor. I just want to slap on the turbo kit with tuning and bolt on's (exhaust and so on) and can I achieve 320 - 350rwhp? Also at what hp would I need to start to built my motor? My goal is somewhere in the 400 - 450rwhp range, when would you guys think I would need to built my motor to hold 400rwhp+?
Any information is greatly appreciated. Also if anyone can tell me if they still continue to manufactor the speedcraft turbo kit I would be greatly thankful.
All reviews of s/c and t/c's are greatly appreciated too!! Just another fellow s2ki member trying to be fast.
Thanks in advance

FYI- Speedcraft is out of business for legal reasons.
I recommend replacing the engine internals for anything over 300whp. Additionally, the stock ECU should be replaced with a stand alone unit for anything running FI.
