Hello!!!!

My boyfriend is a mechanic and at the moment is working with a Honda s2000 tryng to
obtain more horsepower from the car. The situation is the following:
He installed a supercharger NOVI1000 to the s2000 but the car strated to show signs of
horsepower failure intead of gaining more power. He decided to install a field to raise more gasoline and obtain more horsepower but the car continued failing. After this he decided to lower the gasoline and the car showed signs of improvement but still not the desired
outcome. Then he decided to install an 8 pounds pulley and lowered more gasoline
trying to see if the car runs better but still could not obtain more horsepower.

He also installed the same type of supercharger to a different s2000 car raising more
gasoline and the car ran much better than the previous car. His questiions are :
Have any of you confronted a similiar problem when trying to obtain greater horsepower
from the s2000 car? Is it possible that the problem may be the factory computer brought
by the car or maybe the supercharger has come damaged? Have any of you used a field
or apex and which one gives better results? The final question: Have any of you
used any other type of tool or equipment to provide more electrical current to the
s2000?

I apologize for my wording but my first language is Spanish and I don't know anything
about cars. I will really appreciate if someone can help my boyfriend. Thanks

Mari,

You probably should post this under the forum for "Under the Hood" that is where the mechanics are all discussed and you will probably get a better response.
