Default which fotomoto drain value from Rick

after listing to Macgyver for over a year on how great the fotomoto drain value is for oil changes - and - seeing that Rick now carries them i guess it's time to buy one..

Rick offers one with a nipple and one with out..

what's the best application for our cars?

Thanks

Steve, i bought the one without the nipple. The nipple is good if you want to attach a hose to it.

The nippled valve is also great for Spoon type x-braces.

Order the one with the nipple. Without it the oil tends to roll back under the valve and gunk things up as you near the end of the oil draining session. And the ability to put a tube on there helps at times.

I never thought you would have one of these. I figured it would speed up the oil change process too much for you and your son.
Actually one of our projects was putting it on. It really hasn't speeded things up much. We wouldn't permit it.

All kidding aside, the valve is great. Adam and I highly recommend it.

I would really like to order one of these, but there is one thing that I am worried about. Maybe you guys can answer this for me. Won't a good deal of oil remain in the pan after it is all drained out of the valve? Maybe you could jack up the back, but it seems to me that some will still remain.
