I just saw this on Honda's website and figured some of you might be interested. If nothing else, its a free atlas.

Anyone done this? What are the 40 points? Do they push you to fix a bunch of stuff afterwards?
I tend to be very skeptical of those 40 point 120 point etc checks because when I used to go to jiffy lube with my mustang it was to include x point check and all I could tell they did is turn on my blinkers and check my washer fluid. If Honda is honestly going to check some things that I can't check myself or check easily then I'd be all for going. Otherwise I'd probably pass.

Its just stuff that can be checked fairly easily and quickly if you have a little know-how. Brakes, tires, wipers, etc.

Funny what they consider a "point"....

They might as well just call it a 100 "point" inspection.

Yes...or even worse, you come in with an S in perfect working condition and you come out with, say, a leaky clutch master cylinder.

I don't trust most mechanics and dealerships.
