Default Front brakes

Mine is less than 3 Yrs and about 32K miles and I have my front break squeaking. It sounds like a low pad indicator. I dont drive and break hard, in fact, I still have the original front tires (about 40%). Would the front pads wear that fast to yours too?

I have 42000 miles on the original front and rear pads. No track days and a few spirited drives in the hills.

You can see the outside pad through the wheel.. easy to inspect.
To make sure, remove the wheel and look at the inside pad too.

Definately check the pads and look at the indicator if it's touching. If not, try using some good brake dust cleaner.

or you can just swap out the front brake pads/resurface rotors. It's not expensive and you won't have to worry about it again for a bit.

You may need to remove your wheels to check since you have an AP2 ...

I just changed my front pads at 48K. They were squealing, but when I got the old pads out they were still at about 25%. Oh well, no more squealing and much firmer feel for $66. I'm happy.
