Front License Plate How To Attach Holder
Noob question. I got one of those angled license plate holders (Chasing J's) but not sure the best way to install it. Currently, I don't have a front plate and I have the license plate plugs.
1.) How to remove the plate plugs without damaging the bumper?
2.) I heard there is a piece inside the bumper that will fall into the bumper if I am not careful - any tips to avoid this?
3.) What bolts would I need? Thinking of putting an o-ring on each bolt to prevent the holder contact with the bumper.
Thank you in advance!

You can also mount it inside the "mouth" in front of the radiator. You can remove plate material that is often covered by a plate "frame" to help it fit or slightly bend it uniformly in a horizontal fashion. You can get creative and mount it to the black plastic bracket that exists in there. CA plates are to be mounted at least 12" above the ground but I think no LEO will get picky on that one given the nature of the S2000.
I have driven my 2009 entirely with a rear plate only without attracting any attention. I do have a military decal on the windshield so that may lead some to think the lack of a front plate has an exception. I tend to think the more rural area I live in is a bit more relaxed than urban areas.

Thank you - yes will try different configurations. I was able to remove one of the plugs easily but looks like the bolt piece behind the bumper is loose and will probably fall down. I placed two M6 bolts to secure them in place for now. Not looking to take off the bumper but might have to.
Don't take off the bumper. It looks awful mounted there. Put it inside the mouth if you want to have a front plate. Again, I have never kept the front plate on for my 2009. I can if needed but have never been stopped.
