Default License Plate Bracket Plug

I just removed the front license plate bracket from the S2000 I just bought. When I tried to push in the plugs into the threaded holes where the screws go in, the threaded holes were pushed inside the bumper. Does anyone know an easy way to reach behind the bumper, hold the threaded holes into place so I can install the license plate bracket plugs?

The bumper takes about 10-15 minutes to remove.

Thanks for the link to remove the bumper. I also thought about super glue, but if I ever need to put on a front license plate, it may cause more problems later on.

If you use super glue, I will track you down and slap the shit out of you. Then I'll fly to Canada and slap the shit out of skhalid7!

Mine did this too. Pull the bumper. It's easy. Glue will make a mess.

use a 10mm bolt, the longer the better, on one side to hold it back and stick one end of the plug in far enough to grab it and then remove the bolt and pop in the other side of the plug.
the other side should hold it for the other plug.

it worked for me.

I ended up pulling off the bumper and put in the plugs. Pulling off the bumper was somewhat scary since I had to really tug to get the bumper off. Once it was off, things went well. Much easier to put the bumper back on.
