I was not including primer in that price.
Maybe my uncle is stealing it for me from his shop

Seriously what the **** are you smoking

I got a quart with clear for 18 dollars
Thats not normal. A pint of unthinned paint (pure color) of Dupont or PPG is about $50-90 bucks, depends on your hookups. Clear is another 20 for a pint, and thinner is about 10. Primer is cheap.

There is no way you are getting a quart of paint for 18 bucks, unless your best friend is the owner of the store/shop.

I figured it out and that is how much his shop pays for it.
The 18 dollars included the paint only, not the clear.

But they have a lot of clear being a body shop, either way im getting mine painted for 18 dollars and case of old style.

I bought a replica lip which fit like crap so I then bought an OEM lip and had the lip and bumper both sprayed...$80 for paint, $400 for prep work and spraying. The bumper I had was absolutely BEAT and scratched up but now it all looks gorgeous. I stand by the "you get what you pay for" saying where this stuff is concerned.
I guess if you don't care a lot about it you can rattle can a knock off lip and call it a day but that's not what I was going for and Spa is a difficult color to match.
