Hey guys, my car is currently in the shop for repair and i was looking forward to either get a new bumber (c-west) or stick with the stock look and add a lip. Im very comfortable with the height of the car and do not want its stance any lower than it is. All in all i wanted to get some info on the c-west front bumper, oem lip , j's lip, and how much lower clearance it has than a stock bumper? Thanks for your help

oem lip goes OVER the front bumper, it is maybe 1/4" lower.

Actually, the OEM lip lowers the front bumper ground clearance by 1".

Would you estimate about an inch with the 04 lip as well?

If you're not going to lower it, definitely go with the OEM lip.

You can always buy an OEM lip protector from Coastal Metals. In fact, I bought a lip splitter from axcilla and installed it right under my Gears lip. Now, scraping is no big deal to me.
