Front "splashguard" fell off

You know those 2 little 2"x4" rubber tabs sitting in front of the front wheels? I noticed one of mine was dangling loose over the weekend. I gave it a little wiggle and the damn thing fell off completely!
Do you think it serves any useful function? If not, I might have to remove the one on the other side of the car for symmetry
ugh, guess i gotta pull a CPO on the dealers to see if they'll replace it. the one that's now sitting in my trunk was ground up by the pavement when it was dangling off the underbody of the car
Pick your fights with the dealerships. A new pair of front/under strakes is like $25 and not worth arguing with them. Save that for tranny/motor/softop work if it arises.

BTW: just saw you have an '06, but you said CPO? Got a used one already???? Nice.

How do you reattach the under strakers if you ripped the brackets? Do you really need them for stability?
I've taken mine off to try a high speed run and the front end does feel like it floats a bit... not a huge difference, but I'd want them on there.
