Front Spoiler Issue
Looking for some assistance regarding weater stripping used on the top edge of the front spoiler where it mounts against the main lower body section. I had a minor problem with a parking lot curbing and scratched the spoiler. A freind did the repair job on it and repainted it. The problem is that when he removed the weather stripping, it came of in multiple pieces and is now useless. I contacted my service manager as well as the local Honda Parts department and was informed that the weather stripping only comes on a new spoiler ($500 bucks). I thought that maybe someone else may have had the problem and found a solution. I have checked around with some of the places that might have unusual types of weather stripping, but have found nothing even near useable. I have tried to find a telephone number or email addrress for Honda, but haven't gotten anyhing worthwihile. So here I am. Help Anybody?
Comptech side skirts I think comes with the same style rubber trim. You might try to find out where they get it. Or if you can buy some from them.
Or check with a body shop supply store in your area. They may be able to order it.
Good luck.
