Default Front Spoiler: Worth The Money?

I understand they are around 500 bucks. Whats everyones opinion as to how much better the car looks with it? It appeared to me that the way the S2000 is designed that the addition of the spoiler did not make a significant difference. Not 500 dollars worth anyway.

Is it worth the money? Only if you think it is! Really, add ons like that are a personal preference. HandA Accessories (our sponsor) sells it for $358, so it can be had for less $$$. If you like it, buy it, if not, save your money for other things that you may want to get later.

I bought it because I'd rather scrape $300 bucks worth of spoiler than $1000 worth of front bar. Looks pretty good too.

I agree - it is definitely a personal preference, and Aus makes a good point. One thing I have noted about mine is that it seems to chip more easily (maybe because its lower to the ground) than the rest of the front bumper - I wonder if the painting process is the same...

I agree. When I was about to order my car, I was going to get it with out any body options. Then I decided to go for it and got the front/real spoiler and the side strakes. IMHO it makes the car look so much better.

Hey there Con.... Personally I don't like any of the spoiler or strake options. If you want it on front purely for a protective nature, then I would take a look at the coastal metals front end splitter instead....my .02 worth. Kevin (p.s.) I have no spoilers, and I also don't have any chips or scrapes.....it's all about paying attention to where you're driving the car.

I've been very happy with the OEM front spoiler. It looks great and has saved my bumper from damage during parking at least twice. Don't buy it from the dealer; go with H&A.

I've had mine on for about 2 months now and would agree with everything said above (except for one) - looks 100% better and it is a manufacturer piece. I got mine for $332 from H&A on a group buy - shipping was really cheap (I think $7?) and I installed in in an evening (taking my time).

Hi DarioManfretti,

would you say that the rear spoiler makes any difference to the handling?

I am considering to buy one but only for improved handling in corners and at high speeds. IMHO, the looks of the car is better without it.

And answering the original question: I've got the front spoiler and think it looks great!
