Here in Maryland it's required to have both front, and rear plates. Having a front plate messes with the ecstatics of the S and I Fcking hate seeing it their. Any way to get around this god forsakin law?

Just take it off. If you're lucky you'll get away with it for months or even years. If you're semi-lucky you'll get a warning a time or two before you decide your luck is running out. If you're unlucky you'll get a ticket fairly soon. And then put the plate back on. I don't know what the ticket is in MD but in VA I think it's about $70 (from memory, so could be flawed).

I think I'm going to take my chances, I'll keep it in my car and when I get pulled over I will say, yeah here it is officer...just going to get plate screws right now actually haha

I gave him the same answer as i had my plates in the wind screen and it was DISPLAYED.
I did not have the front tags for a year and a half and then one day one PRICK was passing me on Rt 29, and once he was in the front, the other PRICK on the the passenger seat saw my front with no tags and he said something to the driver who slowed down and turned on his lights. Those pricks gave me a ticket for FAILURE TO DISPLAY FRONT LICENSE PLATES
Hate this, cuz i have seen so many Mazdas and other cars with no front tags. f@#king Haters.

I "fought the system" for a while, eventually I got sick of getting pulled over and fined all the time, not worth the hassle anymore. I've probably paid about $500 in tickets stemming from no front plate: pulled over for that, but lead to tint ticket and exhaust violation everytime.

I don't use my front plate. Around here if you get a ticket for failure to display front plate you just take your car with the plate attached to city hall and they void the ticket. I also carry the plate with me under the passenger seat so if I get pulled over I can prop it up on the dashboard or make up an excuse about how it keeps falling off the car.

I got 2 tickets so far, was able to fight both.

The first one I got while parked, that one pissed me off the most.
