I don't have one. And I don't care. Multiple cops have driven by my car, and nothings happened. Knock on wood. The plastic holder is what makes it looks so bad.

 

Just move to FL, we don't have to do inspections, no front plates etc. I actually drove around with my rear plate off of my car for about 1 month here just because I kept forgetting to get plate screws, never got messed with once

 

so glad we dont need front plates here. first thing i did when i got the car was remove the plate holder

 

Every State and Province should do what my province has done. For a 25 dollar fee (proceeds go to conservation projects) you can get a seasonal plate, that only requires you having a rear tag, but we get snow all winter, so thats why it is seasonal.

I know the local police and they know me... They use the missing front plate as the excuse to pull you over.
I also know the Town Justices, and have breakfast with them many times a year. I couldn't go before them any more, so I did this.

Either you abide by it or you don't and deal with the hassle. If you don't agree with it then get with like minded individuals and work to get it changed.
