can not tell from the service manual how to replace the front turn signal bulbs (without dropping the bumper).
i can see that it looks like i should be able to reach inside a hole in the front corner under the hood to get to the bulbs, but not sure what i am feeling in there, or which wires to follow-
anyone changed bulbs lately with some tips on this?

(i want to add a little amber color to the clear bulb by coloring the sides of it with a sharpie as suggested on the board)

Have you looked in your owner's manual? Check out page 202 if you haven't. You can get to the bulbs from the front wheel wells.

Yes, you go in through the wheel well as BoostedS2K8888 said. (I did this to replace one of mine.)

I think it's worthwhile to take off the wheel so you can remove more of the little plastic studs that hold the fender liner in place. Otherwise, you have to bend the liner quite sharply and may kink it.
