Do you guys have a fuel guard on the S? I was looking at this thing in Griot't Garage and love their stuff(expensive but great).

They have a FuelGuard for 12.95 I have seen it on another car Porsche 911 Turbo when I was detailing it.(not mine of course) Though I did start it up and take it for a spin around the complex. He had straight pipes on it Very cool! The ends were a gold color from the heat and FRIGGEN LOUD!

I have one. Works great. Never overfill, but once I had some splash out and the guard made the gas stay off the fender.

Is that the little apron thing? I found a left over piece of rubber in the garage (I forgot what from) and in a few minutes with a scissors I had one. Now that I am 100% sure that I don

Just so I don't screw up when I have my car, does topping it off really make it spill that easily? On my current car I always top it off, and I've never had any spillage...

My fuel gaurd is even cheaper. I just use a paper towel from the window washing rack. I never top off, but once in a while I get a few drops of dribble from the nozzle.

I just tap the end of the nozzle so that it dribbles into the tank inlet and the hold the fuel cap under the nozzle until it's far enough not to threaten dropping on the paint.

And no, never try to top off this tank...bad, very bad.

It doesn't just spill. It kinda shoots out.
I have only done it once.
