Hrm... I must have a heavy foot, I get between 175 and 210 per tank, but it is a rare fill when I get more than 200 Miles...

I'll vote yes on how strange the gas gauge is....I have had it show no bar...(level ground) just after starting and jump back up to two...after a few minutes.

I just came back from a short trip to Helen, GA from Greenville, SC last weekend. I got 329 Miles from a full tank with 1 bar left to go. My average MPH on highway was 80MPH. I thouht that was impessisve. Only saw one stook on the entire trip. It was a red one going I85N. Saw way too many Mercedes convertibles in Helen, Clarksville, Cleveland and Toccoa. The stook handles beautifully in the mountain curves. Wish there were more of these curves closer to home!

Worst was prolly 190 on from a full tank where I was bad traffic in Charleston last month. This was all city driving down there.

Keep gas in that tank. If it's like other in tank pumps, it uses the gas as a coolant. No gas, no coolant, shorter life expectancy.

I average about 240 miles on a tank and put about 10.5 - 10.8 gallons back in to fill it up. That is about 22 MPG and I drive agressively a lot. That is one of the biggest advantages we have over the American V8's. They can get good fuel economy on the highway, but you get into them and they drop fast.

man, you guys must be driving around town in 6th gear!
i dont think i have ever gotten 200 miles out of a tank!
VTEC drinks fuel- i dont let the fuel fall to no bars, but usually get 160-175 miles per tank (no highway driving though)...

Someday I will get more than 16 miles to the gallon. Remember that the gas tank hold 13 gallons. When my fuel gauge is showing no bars I typically fuel up with 10.5 gallons. There is a heafty safetly margin in that gauge. At $2.00 a gallon for 92oct here, it gets kinda expensive. I remember driving my CRX and wondering if it was even mathmatically possible to put $10 into the tank, but I digress.

I am happy when I get right around 200 miles before the last bar. I have a super heavy foot and the car spends most of its time under high rpms.

VTEC is an illness that I contracted (started with my Del Sol VTEC) and I always need to hear it.
