I usually let my fuel gauge go to 1 or 2 bars and fill about half the tank (trying too hard to save weight?). Usually get 80 mi. between "half" fill-ups. Did anyone notice that the fuel light comes on early sometimes? Like when it's still 3 bars. ¬

The gas gauge is definately wierd. Lately I'll fill it up until I can't put anymore gas in, yet it'll show that I'm 2 bars from a full tank.

When I'm getting low, it really acts wierd. I've had it show 0 bars one time, then go back up to 4. I was parked at my friends house on a slight angle, but I don't think it would have changed 4 bars. I never can tell how much gas I have, I gauge by the miles I've put on the tank.

I know it's bad taste to bump super old posts, but I just wanted to bump this one to remind everyone that at one point gas cost $1.47... Good times
