Hi guys This is by far the strangest and also the funniest encounter in my S2k.

I was curising on 635 IH today and two guys in Mazda MX-6 took pictures of my 02 Spa Yellow S2k while i'm going 65mph

At first I thought he wanted to race me cuz he had this big exaust and both the driver and the passenger in the MX-6 looked at me giving me the 'nod'
So I droped to 3rd but he doesn't do anything
(What the heck?? I thought u wanted to race!!??)

When I slowed down and matched his speed to see what's up the passenger gets a small camera out and start taking pictures of ME. Haha
(At this point I'm like.. what the??? needless to say I was somewhat embarrased that some guy was taking pictures of me (and my S2k)

He then speeds up little bit gets infront of me about half a car length and the passenger takes more pictures of my car

Before they took the exit both the driver and the passenger waved at me so I waved them back (I'm giggling)

They were probably taking pictures of your plates so they could look up where you live and steal your ride....

You weren't dressed like your avatar at the time were you?
That could explain a few things

 

They probably hang around some Mazda website and are posting your picture, with a "look how cool" thread ...

 

If they are so dumb they had to take pictures to get your plate numbers, I would not worry.

 

he has a legitimate reason to be concerned; or, it could be nothing at all. they could be using the car and driver as part of a website. chances are that they just wanted a picture of the car in motion.......I would hope.

 

They were probably just recruiters for NAMBLA...

I had someone videotape my car while I was at a stoplight. The kids in the car behind me whipped out video camera and started filming.
