heres the situation.. in no way am i unhappy with my car. in fact just writing this thread is makin my eyes water lol.. no but seriously i have a 2002 suzuka blue s2000 and i couldnt love it more.. i got it in march and it has 2800 miles. now heres the prob a week after i got the car.. i found out my girlfriend.. now my wife.. was pregnant.. and imma be a daddy.. yeyy!!! 4 me.. but as most of you daddys already know its not cheap havin a new born.. a lot of expenses come with a baby. im only 21. so its a little harder for me. so im goin to need a bigger car and i can buy one without sellin the s2k but i dont wanna just waaste money like that when i can be spendin it on my new lil baby. so if worst comes to worst i will sell the s2k and buy me a cheaper 4 door and lotssssssss of baby diapers .. now the point of the thread is.. whats a good honest price i can ask 4 or expect to get .. that car is brand new.. even smells new. so if anyone is interested let me know whats up. i live in south florida. but also keep in mind this is not for sure. this is worst case scenario only. oh yea.. and it only has upgraded sound system. everything else is stock.

My CONGRATS!!!!! Kids are great. I've got a 4yo. Shes my pride and joy But like you said their a LOT of work.

I guess if I had any advice for you....... it would be "be VERY PATIENT" and if you feel your going to lose it just put the little guy in his/her crib. Being a mom/dad can be very frustrating , so just stay relaxed and most of all have fun!!!! Because the time will go by very quickly.

Congrats! Babies are terrific, & watching kids grow is the most awesome experience life has to offer - childre really put everything else in proper perspective for sure! Enjoy the ride- cars can always wait! Besides, there's always the eminently practical WRX family car!

 

I am in the same situation here BUSTIN... my gf is pregnant (expecting 11-10-02), and my car is for sale now too.

My car is a MY00 with 29k miles. Im asking 26,500 stock, or 28,500 with mods. Has over 3k in mods, and I paid $34,615 in Feb. 2000 for her.

I am now debating on a GTI 337 or 00-01 Type R.... decisions decisions... either way... Good luck and enjoy!

Get the 1.8 GTI and put a bigger turbo in it. I love the VWs.

BUSTIN, I would guess that you should be able to get $30k + for you car, how much did you pay? MSRP?

Yeah, if I get the 337, Im gonna grab the APR chip off the bat, Stage 3 Turbo, exhaust, etc. Comes out to around 7k installed and Ill be pushing 300hp/300+tq ... decent numbers.

Its just so hard to leave Honda and Ive always wanted a Type R. Its looking like both the R and 337 are about the same price too, 23k.

So who knows...

 

if anyone wants to sell their car for around 22,500 give or take a thousand or so let me know!!!....please....(yea, i know im poor) if not ill have to wait a month or two more...
