G/F Bought an S2000
Hey there, my g/f just bought one, and it is a 2001 model w/ 46,000 miles on it. Are there any problems we should watch out for, or suggestions for improvements on them? Thanks!
I have been looking at them, but the sheer volume there is immense, and so far, no one seems to have asked this particular roll into one question...lol. I am more worried about major things... like i have a Lincoln LS and had no clue that the AC in them is junk, and goes out so often it is not worth it to own one.

theman1990-I deal with service at a Lincol / Mercury dealer and I would have to say I have not seem more than a couple to ever have any A/C issues. As-a-matter-of-fact they are so far shaping up to be be a pretty reliable vehicle compared to all other product I deal with. I am in no way a Lincoln fan, I drive 2 Honda's, but the LS is a good all around vehicle.

Yeah, I like the car performance wise (LS) and comfort, but as a member of the LS owners club, the a/c seems to be a HUGE recurring problem, this was even parroted by the dealer here (who SUCKS). The TSB list for the LS is IMMENSE, and so far, the S2000 doesn't seem to have NEAR the problems that the LS does, but on the other hand I am sure the S2000 is simpler designed than the LS.
look into the clutch TSB -- 0054 i think? that one is worth doing, but since you're out of the manuf warranty, the dealer may not be thrilled to do it...
no harm done w/o it being completed, but it definately quiets down the interior of the car...

almilli, do u mean like when we get the rear tire flatted, don't just change it to spare tire; in stead, firstly, swap the front (same side) to the rear, then put the spare tire to the front.
