its the first model. the on that looks like a radar detector...i know its not the new ones.
How do you like it? I was thinking about getting one since they're dirt cheap nowadays since the newer models are out. Even if they're a little off HP wise, how's the repeatability? If the repeatability is good, it'd be still be work pretty well to see how much of a difference new mods make even if the numbers are off.

Instruments like these calculate HP based on what you input for weight and based on acceleration over time. Did you consider that .......................
1. You didn't launch the car in a way to extract the optimum acceleration?
2. The Z is easier to launch by the average person?

1. i launched it at 4500 all the way to 2nd.
2. true.
i was thinking since the z has more torque, wouldn't it pull more g's?

honestly, i dont like it. why? because i pulled 153hp on it. but i think that the newest one is suppose to be more accurate? dunno.

1. It's been reported that the best acceleration times is done when launching the car well over 6000 rpm. The "launch" on this car is very critical to achieve good times. Measuring by G-Tech as you did is not a good way to determine HP since each kind of launch produces a different kind of acceleration.

The Z also weighs more. The Z also has different tires. The Z may have been launched in such a way to benefit its acceleration. (Get where I'm going with this?)

Also, Candyass makes a very good point. Additionally, different day, different road conditions, different weather conditions .................... different results.

You're putting way too much credence upon a G-Tech to tell you what you want to know.
