Gaimpiero and MG Racing to the rescue
I ordered the European clear corner headlamps from MG Racing a while back, but like most of you who got them, the HID lamps do not mount on the European assembly without the aiming motors, as described in a number of outstanding posts by shaner. So I was stumped -- and convinced that I had to shell out more big $ for the aiming motors.
Out of frustration, I emailed Giampiero who told me that Sue's husband (Sue handles orders in the US for Giampiero) had developed an inexpensive ($25) kit for mounting the US HID lamps on the European clear corners. I ordered the kit today and will post pictures when we do the install this weekend.

I received the kit from MG Racing and it solves the problem! No expensive leveling motors from Europe are necessary, and if you're thinking of buying the European clear corners but were concerned about the problem with adjusting the HIDs, fear no more. This is an elegantly simple solution.
I didn't get a chance to take pictures, but will be pulling the front bumper off and mounting the clear corners this weekend, so I'll get some photos then.
Clear corners for Asheville!

Rick,
How come when I asked Giampiero about the aiming thing he said he would contact his distributor but never got back to me!!
Also, What about the corner (turn or parking light, not sure which) bulb socket? It's larger on the European housings...?

Shaner,
Sue's husband made it up for me -- I think it was the first one.
Do you mean that I'm now going to have a problem with the turn indicator or parking lamp? Sounds like a job for the glue gun
