So I picked up my brand new 03 Spa Yellow last Thursday night from Maroone Honda of Hollywood. I got a great price from Chris Sinagra (www.needahonda.com) at the dealership and the car had only 40 miles on it 
I've been able to put a bit over 300 break-in miles on it so far but I've gotten a sunburn in the process
. It seems too much top-down + Florida sun + fair German skin = sunburn
but who cares! The first thing I did on Friday was take the car down to an electronics place and have an alarm with 2-way pager installed. I had them rip out the crappy stock radio while I was there and upgraded to something decent but not overwhelming. I was just amazed at the number of F&F guys that came through that store while I was waiting for my car. Geez, some of the stuff I saw was just mindboggling (does anybody really need $20k worth of audio and DVD equipment in their Civic?
)
Anyhow, I'm loving the car but I do have to say I've already been vandalized. After spending the day yesterday applying Zaino to the car at my buddy's house, we went inside so I could do some work on his home network setup. After an hour, I came outside to find some idiot punk had thrown baloney slices all over my car!
At first, I was pissed, then I had to chuckle because its just so bizarre! I mean, who gets assaulted by cold cuts? LOL.
I had to console myself by admitting it could have been worse. It wasn't eggs or rocks, but it did remind me how damned vulnerable my newly acquired property is...sigh.

what the hell? Man I swear, I hate to wish ill will on people, but I hope people that do this kind of stuff, get an ass beating they will never forget. I'm talking about ass-WHOOOOPIN'!!! No respect for property...no respect for anything actually...there are few things that get my blood boiling as much as a punk who has nothing better to do, than f*** with people.
I'm glad you were able to laugh it off...what else can you do right? I'm sure i would have done the same, but it would still piss me off. I hope you did do a quick clean of the car.

I was stopped at light last week waiting to make a left turn, and out of nowhere someone from the moving traffic on the right of me hurled a chunk of soft pretzel at my car. It smacked the windscreen. I never got a look at what car it came from due to it being behind and to the right. I did nothing to provoke any sort of attack against by baby. You gotta love living in philly. Where else will someone hurl a soft pretzel at you for no apparent reason.
