Good point....and once that crap starts peeling it's a major pain the ass.I've also noticed it will peel if it stays wet for long periods of time.

I painted my garage with the rust-o-leum epoxy paint last fall. You can buy the "sand" to add to it for traction. The floor came out good, except I would recommend not using the whole container of the sand, even though the directions say to. My floor is a little too rough. It definitely isn't slippery, but it's a little hard to clean up with so much grit.

Rust-o-leum also includes colored flakes that you throw on when the paint is wet to give it textured look.

Yes I can still use a creeper. I really don't have construction joints on the floor. It isn't a filler, though and if you need to fill, you should do that first. The key to using this or just about any other concrete covering product is preparation. Rustoleum includes a clean product and the process takes a few days to do with drying time, before you start painting. You want to be sure and remove any oil or grease areas. There's nothing worse than having portions of your new painted floor, peel off.

I always thought the joints in concrete floors were expansion joints to help concrete from cracking during temp. changes in the weather.Am I wrong?...if not I'm not sure I'd want to fill in the joints.

You are correct about expansion joints. Construction joints are used to control where the cracking occurs.
