Is a garage a must for the S2000?
I'm looking at getting a S2000 as a daily driver.
However, I only have a 3 car garage and I currently have 4 cars. I'll be getting rid of one of the cars (my current DD) to get the S2000 as the new daily driver.
My question is: is it a requirement or highly recommended to store the S2000 in the garage?
I've got my NSX and other cars in the garage, which I don't drive as often, so it makes sense to leave them in the garage.
Since the S2000 will be my daily driver I prefer to keep it accessible and therefore in the driveway.
However, since it's a convertible, I'm wondering the wisdom of doing that.
Oh and I live in a gated community neighborhood which is a bit more secure.

Have your garage enlarged,so there is enough space for 4 cars!
No big deal.
No big deal.

I've been looking for 4 car garage homes, and have found a few. Unfortunately the ones I like are fairly pricey, which would mean no S2K for a few years.
I don't know what's wrong with me. All I can think about is having an S2000 to drive these days.
Even though I've got an NSX, I can't stop thinking about having an S2000. I think I'm nuts!!!
I've driven a few NSX's and that is one I wouldn't park outside. You probably know a little about the car, including what factory it gets produced. For $30k new, it's a damn steal IMHO.
As far as parking it outside, if your home is in a secure environment and you don't park anywhere risque go for it. Keep in mind the car's size if you are tall and/or need to carry a lot of whatever on a regular basis. And with any droptop, get a good 2 way alarm with prox. If you are in the range of that alarm, you'll get a page if anyone tries to do much of anything.
