I say, get a car cover for the SUV and park it outside. The utility car can take a back seat to your new convertible, imo... especially if you drive it rarely, a car cover makes perfect sense as a protective measure and to keep it looking nice while it's not in use, and so that it doesn't take up valuable garage space.

My s2k is outside 24/7. No issues other than that it gets dirty quickly.

Sell the SUV... Doesn't sound like you need it much.
